The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is the only test that assesses what U.S. students know and can do in various subjects across the country. These subjects include arts, civics, economics, geography, mathematics, reading, science, technology and engineering literacy, U.S. history, and writing. Teachers, principals, parents, policymakers, and researchers all use these results to assess progress and develop ways to improve education at all levels.

General information about NAEP is available at http://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/. To view specific Rhode Island results, use NAEP's State Profile data tool.

The NAEP 2022 results have been released but are not yet available on RIDE's report card. This visualization will be available as soon as possible.
