Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School serves approximately 450 students from kindergarten to grade 5. A recent recipient of a RI Dept. of Education School Improvement Grant, Fogarty is actively pursuing innovative tactics to boost student’s academic performance. Programs to increase student attendance and family engagement include a walking school bus and a coffee-by-the-curb for parents. Collaborative and sheltered ESL programming is available. Special education services are provided in a general education setting as well as a self-contained class program. School uniforms are optional.
